Blueberry Oat Bran Muffins

See what I made for our breakfast this morning! You can see the recipe here on my Nourishing Cookbook blog. I fixed these muffins and strawberry smoothies with coconut oil in them. Oh so good and good for us! Enjoy!

Okay I have a question and it might be a stupid one but I'm going to ask any way. I was reading about soaking grains and such. I see in one recipe that you say soak the whole wheat flour. Is this already milled flour? Or is it to be soaked before? I tried soaking the grain before and then grinding it and I got a big mess. I'm probably not doing it right. Can you just clarify that for me. I really want to start soaking my things but want to do it the right way.
    Thanks Sheri.
    Hugs.

    Hi Kim,

When I refer to soaking the flour, this is flour that is already milled. If you are grinding your own wheat to make flour, then you would soak the flour after it is ground. Does that make sense? Some grains like rice and beans, etc. you soak "as is", then cook. I hope that helps!

    Love, Sheri
